FBI agent Olivia Dunham teams up with teams up with a formerly institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop and his son Peter Bishop to investigate weird crimes. Crimes that are part of a larger pattern. Dr. Walter Bishop`s knowledge of fringe science that he worked on before he got institutionalized comes in handy when the team face a rapidly spreading series of unexplained phenomena.

Fringe is a really good science fiction crime show. They get in to so many cool and crazy stuff while working on their cases, and they try to explain it in a scientific way, as much as it is possible.

Fringe has time travel and multiple timeline elements. But it does have some of the monster of the week elements going for it, especially at first. Check out Fringe if you like Continuum.

Oliver Queen returns home after having being lost at sea for five years and presumed dead. Oliver survived on an uncharted island, but he wasn't alone, and to survive he had to learn how to fight. Back in Starling City as a changed man, he has decided to right his fathers and all others corrupted fallout. He disguises himself with the hood of one of his first mysterious island mentors. Arms himself with a bow and high-tech gadgets. With this, he sets about hunting down the men and women who have corrupted his city.

Arrow is a really good TV show. He feels like a mix between Superman and Batman.

Kick as superhuman crime fighters, Continuum and Arrow both have them. They are in slightly different genres, but if you like one of them then you'll probably like the other too.

People all over the world are discovering that they have superpowers and they are trying to deal with how this is change is affecting their lives. Some of the people with superpowers are; Peter Petrelli, a 30-something nurse who suspects he can fly. Claire Bennet, a 17 year-old cheerleader who is next to immortal. Hiro Nakamura, a 20-something Japanese comic book fan who kind of control time. Niki Sanders, a 30-something Las Vegas showgirl with an evil twin. Matt Parkman, a cop who can read minds. Isaac Mendez, a 20-something junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high. This is a show of heroes and villains, some with and some without superpowers.

The first season is absolutely fantastic, but then it sadly starts to slowly get worse and worse until the last season that is barely worth watching. However, the first season is so good that you still will have a really good time watching it.

Heroes also have some time travel aspects to it similar to Continuum, and if you like Continuumthen you are also likely to enjoy Heroes too.

In the future, the human race is about to die out, but when they discover a way to send their consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century, they set out to save humanity. These travelers take over the consciousness of people when they are about to die and take over their life. With only knowledge of history and social media profiles, they have to blend into our society and save humanity at the same time.

Travelers is a decent show with decent writing and characters. It's a good twist on the time-travel formula, many of the time travel show just follow the place and time of the weak formula, but Travelers avoid that.

continuum and Travelers is alike that both include time travelers from the future traveling to our time.

Astronaut John Crichton is on an experimental space mission to test a new spacecraft slingshoting around the globe. He is accidentally is accidentally sucked into a wormhole and emerged into the midst of an intergalactic conflict far out in the universe. He joins the crew on Moya ( a living sentient bio-mechanical space ship ) who picked him up after his unfortunate wormhole ride. He has to get to grips with living among alien creatures wielding deadly technology and being hunted by the Peacekeepers, a merciless military race.

This is a cool sciences fiction show, but not the best. I could for some reason not stomach the actor playing John Crichton. I had problems with him when he was on SG-1 also. This is probably just me, and many will likely disagree with me on this. If you have no problems with him, then this show might be pretty good, absolutely worth watching.

This is an excellent series, but I am not sure if I should recommend it. There is one thing that I hate with this series, and that one thing are the reason to why I will never buy this show. They cancelled it with a cliff hanger. That should be a criminal offence, an offence punished by no TV for the rest of their life.

John Reese, a former CIA operative, is recruited by Harold Finch, billionaire software-genius, to prevent violent crimes. Harold created a machine for the government, a machine that is designed to detect acts of terror before they can happen. This is done by monitoring the entire world through every cell-phone, email and surveillance camera. Harold discovered that the machine sees everything from potential terrorist acts to violent crimes that involve ordinary people. The government considered everything but acts of terror "irrelevant", so Harold made the system capable of giving him the social security number of a person involved in a future violent crime. Harold and John work together to try to stop these crimes before they happen.

This show has good timing with Snowden`s released documents. If we only get a little father in the AI field we might soon have machines like this. I love the show but hate the thought of governments getting machines like this.

Eureka is a small hidden town populated by America’s brightest scientists. They work cutting edge inventions and discoveries. Sadly for them, but funny for us, in their enthusiasm they tend to be forgetful about the safety surrounding their projects, which usually leads to unnatural and hilarious chaos! Sheriff Jack Carter and his daughter accidentally stumble upon Eureka, and Jack ends up being hired as the new sheriff in town. He got more than he bargained for when he has to deal with all the quirky geniuses living in Eureka and their crazy experiments.

This is an absolutely hilarious show. Every episode has some new crazy accidents to be taken care of. I was so sad when it was canceled.

Caprica is set 58 years prior to the events of Battlestar Galactica. This series follows two families set on opposing sites in the decision on creating the Cylons, AI robots that will one day almost destroy the human race. Corporate espionage, online role-playing games, terrorist attacks and family drama all made into one series.

I wish this show could be longer, one season was to short. If you have seen Battlestar Galactica then this is a must see show.

Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds, a former galactic war veteran, is the captain of the transport ship Serenity. He is kind of like Han Solo from Star Wars, a small-time smuggler hiding behind his legal transport services. His crew consists of Zoe, his old war buddy and Wash, the pilot and Jayne Cobb, the muscle and Kaylee Frye, the mechanic and Simon Tam, the medic and River, Simon`s sister and Inara Serra, a courtesan and Shepherd Book, a preacher. Together they do any jobs, legal or illegal. They travel across the outskirts of outer space sparking up trouble wherever they go.

This is a superb show. I can't fathom why it got canceled after only one season. I want a new show like this.

In year 2048 every cop is teamed up with a synthetic android partner. The dysfunctional Detective John Kennex, who hate Androids, are forced to team up with an old second-hand android named Dorian. Dorian is an DRN model police synthetic, that were made to simulate human feelings. They were replaced with a newer model that are less human.

I loved Almost Human. It`s so irritating that so many good shows are canceled way before there time.

A trio of bounty hunters lives in a solar system ruled by a tyrannical class based corporation known as the company. They live hard, party all night, and they work for an Independent interplanetary organization of assassins and retrieval experts called R.A.C. People working for R.A.C. is known as Killjoys. Killjoys only follows one law and that is "The Warrant is all".

Killjoys dos not have the biggest budget, but it still manages to be a very cool show.

The year is 2046 and over 30 years have passed since aliens arrived. They drastically altered earth by terraforming it and colonizing it. In the frontier town of Defiance the different alien species and humans are living side by side. This off course is not without tension between the different spices, which makes for a lot of small, and not so small, problems to overcome.

This is a great post-apocalyptic show. I really hope it will get many more seasons.
