A group of vigilantes set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.

Superpowered people are heroes for the general public. Their images are carefully cultivated by a powerful corporation that owns them, Vought International. But power corrupts most people, and most of those superheroes are no different. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. Hugh "Hughie" Campbel joins a group of vigilant hero killers after his girlfriend is killed by one of them in front of him. One of his heroes acted recklessly and she got killed, and it all got hidden away by those in power.

Doom Patrol is a group of superpowered outcasts living together under the house of one idealistic modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder. The heroes are Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, and Crazy Jane. They have superpowers, but they also got horrible scars, disfigurements, and traumas from it. They investigate weird phenomena and protect Earth from what they find if necessary. They are partly a support group and partly a Super Hero team. The Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

A renegade spawn of an angel and a demon, a soul without a body, choose to inhabit the body of Texas preacher Jesse Custer. A preacher that has lost his faith and has a drinking problem. The offspring called Genesis bonds with Jesse giving him the word of God. When he uses it people obey. Jesse, his ex, and his vampire friend are forced into a battle between Heaven and Hell.

Vlad Tepes (Dracula) declares war on humanity after his wife Lisa Tepes is accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake by the church. He summons an army of demonic creatures from hell to kill and conquer all humans.

Trevor Belmont is the last survivor of the monster-hunting Belmont clan. He is trained to take on all kinds of monsters, and he agrees to take up the fight against Vlad Tepes.

The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.

It follows the travels and exploits of a lone bounty hunter known as The Mandalorian, a member of the nearly extinct ancient martial order Mandalorian.

But one day a job changes his life drastically.

So far The Mandalorian is the Star Wars story and atmosphere I have been waiting for. I like many of the existing movies, but they are all about grand galaxy-wide consequences. The Mandalorian is a more small scale and on the outskirts and lawless parts of the galaxy. Probably why I liked the Solo: A Star Wars Story so much.

People all over the world are discovering that they have superpowers. They are all trying to deal with how this is change is affecting their lives.

Some of the people with superpowers are. Peter Petrelli, a 30-something nurse who suspects he can fly. Claire Bennet, a 17-year-old cheerleader who is next to immortal. Hiro Nakamura, a 20-something Japanese comic book fan who kind of control time. Niki Sanders, a 30-something Las Vegas showgirl with an evil twin. Matt Parkman, a cop who can read minds. Isaac Mendez, a 20-something junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high.

This is a show of heroes and villains, some with and some without superpowers. A shadowy organization hunting people with superpowers is one of the power players.

The first season of Heroes is absolutely fantastic, but then it sadly starts to slowly get worse. The last season is barely worth watching.

However, the first season is so good that you still will have a really good time watching it. Heroes is an excellent show.

Jessica Jones works as a hot-tempered private detective in Hell's Kitchen.

She uses her extraordinary abilities, super strength, to champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is a very good superhero TV show.

It has crossovers with other Netflix Marvel superhero TV shows like Luke Cage and Daredevil.

Nick Sax is an ex-cop and currently a hitman. After wakening up injured in a hospital he sees a flying blue horse that claims it is the imaginary friend of a girl that needs help. And so begins the bloody journey to save the girl with the help of a flying blue horse character named Happy.

The Defenders takes part a few months after the events of the second season of Daredevil, and a month after the events of Iron Fist, the vigilantes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up in New York City to fight a common enemy: The Hand.

Gotham is the story behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival. This story starts out with the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne right in front of their young son Bruce Wayne's eyes.

Although detectives James Gordon and his partner Harvey Bullock find the killer quickly, the case is not so simple. Gordon starts his lonely and dangerous road that will set him against both the deadly underworld and against some of his just as deadly comrades in the police department.

In the coming conflicts, some criminals will fall while others will raise to become supervillains. But for some people, the spark that sets them on the road to becoming superheroes is also ignited.

The world is full of people and monsters with superhuman abilities. Saitama is one of those people with superhuman abilities, and he can defeat his enemies with a single punch. He trained three years to gain this strength so he could follow his dream of being a hero.

But he has become too strong, defeating everything with one punch is too easy, he can no longer feel the thrill of battle. Saitama overpowered power makes his life boring and dull. He finds his overall hero life pointless.

But one day Saitama meets the cyborg Genos. He witnesses Saitama's power and wishes to become his disciple. Genos proposes that they join the Hero Association in order to become certified heroes so they also can get recognized for their heroic deeds. Saitama, who is shocked that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees.

New allies and new foes await them as they embark on this new journey together as a member of the Hero Association. Maybe Saitama once again will experience the excitement of battle that he once felt.

Ken Kaneki is a shy and bookish college student. When he meets the beautiful and mysterious Rize Kamishiro he is instantly drawn toward her. She is a book reader just like him.

But Rize is not exactly who she seems, she is a Ghoul. And Kaneki is her pray.

Ghouls are creatures that can masquerade as humans and blend in with human society. But unlike humans, they thirst for human flesh.

Tokyo is infested with Ghouls living side by side with humans. They live in hiding and hunt in secret.

Kaneki survives being attacked by Rize, but not without severe repercussions. Some of his organs were destroyed, and the surgeon uses some of Rize's organs to save Kaneki since she died during her attack. Having Ghoul organs in him changes Kaneki.

Kaneki is now half-ghoul and half-human.

Now Kaneki has to deal with his thirst for human flesh and hiding his true nature. Thus begins Kaneki's quest to integrate into both Ghoul and Human society.

Tokyo Ghoul is a dark and gory anime. It has an interesting story and good animations.

I really like this anime.

It's not among the best, but it's still absolutely worth watching. But if you have read the manga then you might be disappointed, or so I have heard.

Masane Amaha discovers that she can transform into a powerful being.

This discovery comes about when she is attacked by an advanced weapon that can disguise itself as a human being.

Masane destroys the weapon and thus becomes involved in a power struggle between powerful organizations.

They discovered that she holds the most powerful weapon of them all.

The legendary Witchblade.

Witchblade is quite good.

It's very character-driven and has nice pacing.

Witchblade is actually based on an American comic and not a Japanese manga.

It`s absolutely worth giving this anime a chance.

Gon is a young boy that dreams of following in his father's footsteps as a Hunter.

Hunters catch dangerous criminals, search for hidden treasures, charts new theories, and other dangerous stuff.

To become a Hunter Gon first has to pass a notorious difficult Hunter exam.

Gon set out on his path with the lively doctor-in-training Leorio, the vengeful Kurapika, and the rebellious ex-assassin Killuat.

Hunter X Hunter, especially the newest version, is among the best animes I have watched.

It's absolutely worth watching. But its a Shounen, so it's long.

Parasitic aliens descend upon Earth. They quickly infiltrated humanity by burrowing into the brains of sleeping people.

The take control over the humans they burrow into. They can also shapeshift into horrendous shapes to fight and eat humans.

Shinichi Izumi is a sizteen-year-old highschool student, and he fell victim to one of these parasites. But it failed and it had to settle for taking his arm instead.

The parasite called Migi and its host Izumi has to learn to live together. They have to learn to go about daily life and to fight other parasites.

Parasyte -the maxim- is an excellent anime, one of the better ones. And if you like horror, especially of the body horror kind, then it is a must-watch.

The young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of alchemy, they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her.

But alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange.

As an exchange Edward loses his left leg and Alphonse his physical body. It is only sacrificing his own right arm that of Edward's is able to bind Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. And to top it off, the resurrection failed.

With the help of a family friend, Edward receives metal limbs, also called automails, to replace his lost ones. With that, Edward vows to search for the mythical Philosopher's Stone to return his brother to his original body.

To do this he becomes a State Alchemist, a governmental military organization. After joining they quickly find themselves caught up in a nationwide conspiracy that leads them not only to the true nature of the elusive Philosopher's Stone but also deep into their country's murky history as well.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a masterpiece. It among the best anime shows.

Just watch it.

Ryan Romano, alias Quicksave, is an eccentric superhuman with a strange power. He can both stop time for a short duration and as the name implies he can create a save point that he automatically loads whenever he dies.

He arrives in New Rome, the rebuilt capital sin in Europe, looking for a long-lost friend only to find himself in the ist of a crazy situation that will require his powers to solve. New Rome is torn between mega-corporations, sponsored heroes, super-powered criminals, and true monsters where some only threaten the city while others might threaten the whole world.

Ryan sees many different routes, and from Hero to Villain, he has to groundhog day them all with his savepoint power. Only then will he achieve his perfect ending. No matter how many loops it takes.
