The creators have earlier made shows like Buffy and Angle. Grimm has some high standards to live up to, and it does so remarkably well.

This Show is a kind of modern take on the Grimm`s fairytales. Grimm is especially worth watching if you like modern fantasy and police shows.

Lucifer Morningstar is bored with his life and duties as the lord of hell. He decided to take a vacation in the city of angels.

Lucifer owns one of the cities most prestigious nightclubs. There he lives a life full of delicious sin and fun while trading favors with clients.

But when one of his clients is gunned down he teams up with an LAPD detective to solve the case.

Lucifer is so smitten with this detective that he decides to join the LAPD as a consultant. He uses his power to draw out people's deepest desires and wishes to solve crimes.

I love this show.

I know it`s jet another crime show with a specially gifted but flawed main person, but I still love it.

Some people get in a fizzy fit because the TV show goes too far away from the comic. I have never read the comic books so I don really care about that.

Agent Pete Lattimer and Agent Myka Bering find themselves transferred to Warehouse 13. It's a massive top-secret storage facility in South Dakota.

This mysterious warehouse contains every supernatural artifact ever collected by the government.

Their new job has them chasing down reports of supernatural activity in search of new artifacts to be safeguarded in the Warehouse.

Warehouse 13 is an entertaining adventure full of fictional and historical objects and gadgets with and without (mostly with) supernatural powers.

I really like this TV show.

FBI agent Audrey Parker is sent to Haven to help the local police to track down a fugitive. She gets help from Nathan Wuornos, a local cop, and Duke Crocker, a small-time smuggler.

Audrey soon discovers that many people in the Haven have supernatural abilities or "troubles" as they call it.

It does not take loon before Audrey discovers that her past is connected to these "troubles" in Haven.

Haven follows the trouble of the week formula.

If you like mystery and don't mind episodic stories then Haven is worth checking out. But it is not anything exceptional.

Angel is Buffy's first boyfriend, and he is a vampire.

He is doomed to walk the earth with a soul, which destines him to a torturous life.

Angel moves to L.A. after breaking up with Buffy and sets up shop as a kind of supernatural private investigator.

I personally like Angel better than Buffy the vampire slayer. The only thing that is better with Buffy is Buffy.

Bo is a sexy succubus, and to feed she sucks the life force out of people.

For years she did not know what she was and had no control of her feeding.

She fled one corpse after another.

Until one day she accidentally crossed paths with Kenzi, a drifter, and a thief.

Bo rescued Kenzi from a date rape scum bag by killing him, which this time finally made the fae catch up with her.

The fae is split into two sides, light and dark. Each Fae must choose one of the sides, and stick to it.

Bo, who until now has lived outside the faecommunity, vows to live on her own terms. Even if it means existing alone between the dark and the light.

She manages this with the help of her mischievous, but loyal friends. Her friend Kenzi, the handsome shapeshifter Dyson and the beautiful human scientist Lauren.

While Bo tries to unravel the riddle of her mysterious past, she and her friends also have to tackle other problems that arise.

This is a really cool series if you are into this kind of stuff.

Absolutely worth watching.

John Constantine is a seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult. He uses his expertise to find supernatural terrors that threaten our world and sends them back where they belong.

Vlad Tepes (Dracula) declares war on humanity after his wife Lisa Tepes is accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake by the church. He summons an army of demonic creatures from hell to kill and conquer all humans.

Trevor Belmont is the last survivor of the monster-hunting Belmont clan. He is trained to take on all kinds of monsters, and he agrees to take up the fight against Vlad Tepes.

The people of Alera are bound with furies, elementals of earth, water, air, fire, and metal.

The teenager Tavi stands out from all other people in Alere, he has no furycrafting.

However, Tavi manages to get by with brains and courage, even when everyone else has the power of furies backing them.

When his homeland erupts in chaos, when rebels war with loyalists and furies clash with furies, Tavi's simple furyles courage will turn the tides of war.

Furies of Calderon is the first book of Codex Alera, a finished six-book series.

This is an excellent series, and I absolutely recommend people loving fantasy books to read it.

Atticus O'Sullivan is the last of the Druids, and he runs an occult bookshop in Arizona. He is a handsome, tattooed Irish dude that looks like he is in his early twenties, but in actuality, he is over twenty centuries old.

Atticus is shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. He is giving the dog the same life-extending potions that he takes himself, so his dog is way older than the average seven years a wolfhound gets. When they are not hunting they watch movies and have witty conversations together.

Atticus draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword. The sword is known as Fragarach and it can cut whatever it hits. In this first book, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries. He has finally tracked Atticus down.

How is Atticus going to handle a good?

The Iron Druid Chronicles is an exciting page-turning series where you often laugh out loud from all the witty commentaries. This series is absolutely recommended.

Two neighboring countries are divided by a wall, Ancelstierre to the south, and The Old Kingdom to the north.

Ancelstierre has a technology level and society similar to that of early-20th century England. The Old Kingdom has a more medieval technological level, but they do have both Free Magic and Charter Magic. This last tidbit is officially denied by the government of Ancelstierre and disbelieved by most of its inhabitants.

Sabriel is in her last year at Wyverley College, a private school in Ancelstierre that lies close to the wall to The Old Kingdom.

When an undead creature enters their dormitory Sabriel notices it is attempting to communicate. It is a messenger from her father, the Abhorsen, who is now past the Seventh Gate of Death.

The message tells Sabriel that she is to take on the role of Abhorsen and defeat Kerrigor, a powerful necromancer who is attempting to make his way back into Life.

The undead messenger gives Sabriel the Abhorsen's bandolier of bells, the Abhorsen's sword, and a map of The Old Kingdom.

Sabriel leaves Wyverley College and travels into the mystical land of the Old Kingdom.

Sabriel is a really great book and the rest of the Abhorsen books are just as good. They are YA books, but they are still worth reading for adults.

Harry Dresden, a Chicago bound professional wizard, and the only one with an ad in the yellow pages. Business is sadly dreadful, even for a professional wizard PI. So when the local police ask him for help on a strange double murder, he jumps on it.

The Dresden Files is a must-read for anyone with the slightest interest in this gangrene.

Alex Verus runs a magic shop in London. His primary power is foresight. He can see future possibilities. This allows him to do things that most others would not be able to do.

Alex is approached by multiple factions to crack open a relic from an ancient mage war. Thanks to his abilities, Alex can predict that by taking the job, his odds of survival are about to go from slim to none.

Vlad Taltos is a wise-cracking assassin and mobster. Being an Easterner in the Dragaeran city of Adrilankha is not easy but despite that, Vlad has managed to become a minor boss in the criminal syndicate of the Jhereg Organization.

He arrogantly accepts a job with a staggeringly large reward from an extremely powerful and fared member of the Organization's ruling Council.

The job is to assassinate Mellar, another Jhereg crime lord who has absconded with a fortune from the Jhereg treasury.

No on steels from the organization and survives, or get a fast death.

The young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of alchemy, they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her.

But alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange.

As an exchange Edward loses his left leg and Alphonse his physical body. It is only sacrificing his own right arm that of Edward's is able to bind Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. And to top it off, the resurrection failed.

With the help of a family friend, Edward receives metal limbs, also called automails, to replace his lost ones. With that, Edward vows to search for the mythical Philosopher's Stone to return his brother to his original body.

To do this he becomes a State Alchemist, a governmental military organization. After joining they quickly find themselves caught up in a nationwide conspiracy that leads them not only to the true nature of the elusive Philosopher's Stone but also deep into their country's murky history as well.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a masterpiece. It among the best anime shows.
