The staff is advance robots that look and act just like humans, only on a script. After each period they are reset, and they play out their script again without remembering anything from the last run.

Only, recently something strange is happening. Some of the robots are acting strangely, and some start to remember.

Westworld is another excellent show from HBO.

Everyone should check it out, it's among the best shows ever.
