"In every generation, there is a chosen one... she alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer". Buffy, a sexy kick-ass high school girl, is her generation chosen one. Destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, while still trying, and failing, to be just a "normal girl". Luckily for her, she is not alone in her quest to save the world. She has the help of her group of friends, the hilarious evil-fighting team called "The Scooby Gang".
I remember watching this when I was young. I watched it on TV, so I missed some episodes, but it still was really good. I plan to get it sometime in the future and re-watch the whole series. I remember having a teen crush on her so maybe my opinions are flavored by that.
Is Buffy: the Vampire Slayer good?
Buffy is starting to get older but is a show about teenagers fighting against supernatural beings. Buffy is more episodal and does not have focus only on one long story. Ragnarok and Buffy is two similar shows, so if you like one of them then you might like the other.

Aziraphale, a somewhat fussy angel, and Crowley, a fast-living demon, have been living amongst you humans since the beginning. Both where put her to push events toward an apocalypse that will be in their respective teems favor. They both have grown rather fond of the Earth, so they have made a personal piece and are scheming together to stop the apocalypse. But when they discover that the boy they believed to be antichrist was, unknown to everyone, swapped at birth everything becomes complicated and time-sensitive.
This tv show is perfectly adopted. The quirky and special humor transferred just perfectly. This tv show and its actors are doing an excellent job of keeping the spirit from Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman's collaboration.
Is Good Omens good?
As Ragnarok, the Norse mythology apocalypse is a central theme of the show Ragnarok, the Christian apocalypse is part of Good Omens. Its also about God and religious beings. But Good Omens is a humourous show and much more light-hearted.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is mainly about Sabrina Spellman. She's a witch and shes soon turning 16, which means she has to undergo a dark baptism to fully embrace her witch side. It basically means that she has to pledge her loyalty to the Dark Lord Satan. Sabrina is a "half-breed", one of her parents was a human, and she goes to a normal high school. Her dual nature makes her struggle with the upcoming baptism. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a dark coming-of-age story full of in horror, the occult and witchcraft of the darkest sort.
Solid cast, engaging plot and compelling visuals. I love this. It's dark and grotesque but at the same time not scary or a gorefest. Most negative reviews online are because they feel like the show has some political agenda or they dislike how it strays from the earlier versions. None of this bothers me. I find it an excellent show.
Is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina good?
Sabrina is also a dark supernatural show mainly focused on older teens and up. It's not about Norse mythology and Sabrina has always known about the supernatural world, but Sabrina still feels somewhat similar to Ragnarok.

Scott McCall's life changes forever when he is bitten by a werewolf and becomes one himself. Some changes are positive, like strength, super-hearing and a super healing. But there are problems and dangers that come along with being a lycanthrope, both from other werewolfs and other creatures, but also from werewolf hunters.
I like it. I think it is better than the more popular show Vampires Diary. If you like other teen paranormal shows then you will most likely like this one to.
Is Teen Wolf good?
A highschooler gets superpowers and has to learn to deal with them. If you like Ragnarok then Teen Wolf will probably be a good match as they have some similar elements.

The small town of Riverdale people are starting their new semester after an event full summer break. Archie have had a secret complicated summer tryst, Betty is thinking about confessing her crush, Veronica just rolled into town to escape a family scandal back in NYC, and Josie and the Pussycats are working on building their brand. And Jughead, the high school historian, is writing about all of it. And of course, the thing that everyone is talking about. The shocking murder of one of the rich and popular Blossom twins.
It's a mashup of a Twin Peaks story-line starring Archie comics characters. I got bored, but I think many people will like it.

Riverdale does not have any supernatural elements, but it's a strong story centered around teenagers in a way that feels similar to Ragnarok.

The Last Kingdom tells the tale of young Uhtred of Bebbanburg, heir to a Saxon kingdom, and his attempt to reclaim his title after the violent death of pretty much everyone he cares about. The Last Kingdom is a story of redemption, vengeance, and self-discovery set against the birth of England back at the end of the dark age. The story combines real historical figures and events with fiction. It is a re-telling of the history of King Alfred the Great and his desire to unite the many separate kingdoms into one, what would become England. It's based on the Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell.
The Last Kingdom is a brutal and dark show, and I love it. I don't think the set and characters are as dirty and used as it should, it has a little too much Hollywood glamour about it, but it is still good. Good story and interesting characters.
Is The Last Kingdom good?
The Last Kingdom is Viking related, but it not set in modern times like Ragnarok is. And it's not aimed to be a teen show.
